Chris O’Connell was born in Toronto and educated in Canada, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. His creative writing falls under the genres of speculative fiction, horror and crime. His other artistic endeavours include poetry, abstract painting and music.
His literary influences include James Herbert, F. Paul Wilson, Jonathan Kellerman and David Gemmell to name but a few. He holds a history degree from University College, Dublin and his interests include science, medicine, engineering, economics and politics.
He lives in Ontario.
