Chris O’Connell was born in Toronto and educated in Canada, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. His writing falls under the genres of speculative fiction, horror and crime.
His influences include Jerry Pournelle, Jonathan Kellerman and David Gemmell to name but a few. He holds a history degree from University College, Dublin and his intellectual pursuits include science, medicine, engineering, economics and politics.
He lives in Ontario with two feline muses who make up for in cuteness what they lack in inspiration.
Like many writers, Chris specialises in drinking gallons of coffee, procrastinating and self-loathing.
He encourages you to follow his blog , The Intellectual Plane so that you may poke fun at his pained existence.
